WHO IS THE INVISIBLE MAN ?

Invisible Man Studio Service was started by Kevin Nimmo in 1979.  He would sometimes repair the troubles in professional recording studios at night when no one was about; hence the name “Invisible Man.”

Kevin taught Studio Electronics and Studio Maintenance at Belmont University for 22 years and served as Chief Engineer at Belmont Recording Studios for 18 years. In 1991 Kevin was the chief audio technician for ABC Sports’ coverage of the Pan Am Games in Havana, Cuba. He commissioned the audio consoles for NBC’s Saturday Night Live and Late Night with David Letterman shows.

He has installed over 50 professional recording studios. In 2002, Invisible Man installed the audio, video, and control systems for the film school at
Nashville’s Watkins School of Design. This installation included digital editing bays, a professional quality recording studio and a full sized movie theater with both film and digital projection capabilities. Constantly in pursuit of excellence, Invisible Man stresses simplicity, attention to detail, and controlling cost without sacrificing quality. They take great pride in their work and are licensed (#LV 00393), bonded, and insured.
